NAVTEQ and MapQuest Renew Business Arrangement

Chicago, IL - May 20, 2008 – NAVTEQ (NYSE: NVT), a leading global provider of digital maps for vehicle navigation and location-based solutions, today announced that MapQuest, the top mapping website in the U.S.*, has expanded its agreement with NAVTEQ.  Under the new agreement, MapQuest now has broader access to the NAVTEQ map database.  MapQuest will utilize NAVTEQ data in both its Internet and mobile applications.
